The "EXS Kit Creation" feature allows you to select your favorite EXS instrument sounds and create custom kits for download. All of the sounds used by the factory preset and additional sound store kits are available to select.
After creating your kit, the system makes an xD3 kit file (.xd3kit) for download. Then, simply copy the downloaded kit file to your xD3 modules’ SD card and import it in the usual way.
To use the EXS Kit Creation feature, you must be a sound store user with a registered EXS model product ID (EXS-5, EXS-3, EXS-2 MK2, EXS-1 MK2).
STEP1
Create a new kit fileIf your EXS kit model name is not displayed (e.g. EXS-5), first register your EXS model on the "Product Registration" page.
When your registered EXS model is listed, start the steps to create a new kit file by clicking the button "CREATE KIT FILE".
History displays a record of your previously created kit files. Each record in the list shows the kit creation date, kit model, and kit name. These records can be useful starting points for new kit file creation projects.
• To create a kit file from a history record, click the adjacent “LOAD & CREATE” button.
• Click the "DELETE" button to permanently delete a history record.
